Driven to provide for my family and build a legacy they could be proud of, I embarked on a journey that transformed my passion into a successful career.
During my last year of college at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) while pursuing a business finance degree, I took a real estate investing course that I fell in love with. I knew right away that I wanted to become an investor and real estate agent. Around the same time, my wife Angela had our first child, Lily, who was born 3 months before my graduation. I was fiercely motivated to build a career that would support my family and that I was passionate about.
In 2013, right out of college, I took the leap and got my REALTOR® license. During that time, I also worked at a pool store, a job that taught me about the mechanics of a house and how to make repairs. Having lived in Fort Lauderdale my entire life, I already had a ton of knowledge of the different neighborhoods and the many things that make this place so special. Not to mention, I also knew a lot of people which helped me establish my career in real estate.
While I was initially interested in the investing side of real estate, I quickly developed a passion for helping people buy and sell homes. The process can be complex, especially when coordinating the sale of one home with the purchase of another. I enjoy “solving the puzzle,” so to speak, by figuring out the next step when issues arise. My wife jokes that I act as a therapist for my clients—I'm available to talk even late at night to guide them and relieve their stress. I understand that buying or selling a home is one of the biggest financial decisions people make and I take that responsibility seriously.

Initially, I started at Coldwell Banker, but after two years I had enough of a client base allowing my friend Alex and I to start our own brokerage, Plat Properties. It was during this exciting time in my career that my wife and I had our son, Dominic. It gave me even more motivation to continue growing my business, expanding my reach, and helping more people.
My approach to client-agent relationships is rooted in honesty, inspired by my parents and uncle who upheld great values. My Uncle Joe, for instance, has been very influential in shaping my leadership style. He’s the head athletic director of the Oklahoma Sooners, a massive college sports program, where he manages the entire athletic department and oversees all scholarships. His leadership and dedication have been remarkable, making him an influential figure in my life.
Sports have been yet another impactful part of my life. I grew up playing baseball, beach volleyball, and surfing. My experience as an athlete has translated well into real estate. The mindset of never giving up and continuous self-improvement has been incredibly helpful, keeping me driven through every road bump.
We successfully ran our brokerage until Compass picked us up, recognizing our potential. Compass helped us grow our team to 17 people! It has been a great opportunity to help fellow agents and contribute to a greater impact on the industry.
My family is my ultimate motivation. It’s not just that I want to provide for them—I also want to make them proud by helping people in real estate. My wife is a registered nurse working night shifts, so we balance our schedules ensuring one of us is always there for our kids. I coach my daughter's softball team, my son's baseball team, and even the softball team I play on. We take full advantage of the Florida lifestyle, going to the beach, surfing, golfing, and visiting Disney World.
The stakes of buying or selling a house are high, so I take the responsibility seriously by offering my knowledge not just as a residential REALTOR® but also as a Certified Listing Agent, Certified Real Estate Negotiator, and Certified Buyer’s Agent. With my background in finance and my personal experience investing, I also enjoy showing my clients how to leverage their real estate assets for long-term gains. I offer clients a variety of investment options to ensure their financial security. My local network of trusted professionals ensures my clients have a list of reliable contacts for anything related to home maintenance.
My approach to client-agent relationships is rooted in honesty. If I don't know an answer, I always research it to ensure I provide the best information possible. I never falsify or lie my way through something. In fact, I'm constantly studying to stay updated on new practices, often taking classes through the REALTOR® board. Whether you are looking to buy, sell, or invest, I’ll be happy to support you each step of the way!
Sincerely,
